From everybody at the club, welcome to 2026 and we wish you all a prosperous year.

This is going to be an awesome year for us. As part of out 50th anniversary celebrations, our 2026 exhibition at Aerospace Bristol’s Concorde Hangar is getting closer.

Both Sodbury Vale MRC and Aerospace Bristol are really looking forward to welcoming you all. As you will see from the list of exhibitors, we have a wide range of layouts, demonstrators, traders, societies and other modelling disciplines. Along with everything else that Aerospace Bristol has to offer for a whole year, it’s terrific value for money and will be a great day out for everybody.

As 2025 is coming to a close shortly, we thought it would be good to give a quick update on our 50th anniversary exhibition.

We have had an amazing response to it from many exhibitors. Currently we are expecting about 50 layouts, 20 traders, 12 preservation organisations and societies. There will also be several other modelling disciplines, demonstrators, model traction engines and vintage buses.

In the New Year we will start to publish the confirmed attendees, so keep an eye on this page and our Facebook page for updates.

Hello and welcome to our monthly update.

It’s getting close now to our Sodbury Vale MRC Open Day event. We have created the programme leaflet for the day, which can be found on our website on the 2025 Open Day page (follow the link to go there directly).

It should be a great day showcasing a selection of layouts, demonstrations and other modelling tips.

Once this event has been completed, we will focus all of our attention on the club’s 2026 Exhibition in March 2026 at the Concorde Hanger at Aerospace Bristol. We have created the leaflet for this, which can be found on our Facebook page and also in the 2026 Exhibition page on our website.
